Welcome to the Emporer's New Clothes blog. The title is taken from Hans Christian Andersen's story of the same name in which an entire kingdom would rather admit to seeing something that truly isn't there, rather than be thought a fool.

My goal is to be the "Child in the Crowd". Please note that my motives are the same as the child in the story; I'm not necessarily dogmatic about everything (and completely willing to be shown that I'm wrong), but I'm not going to admit something is there that I do not believe to be so.
